Governor Phil Scott acknowledged Vermont paralegals in a proclamation celebrating their important work to coincide with the Vermont Paralegal Organization’s (VPO) annual meeting on May 15, 2019. Dunkiel Saunders’ practice manager and paralegal Lucia White was reelected as president of the VPO at this meeting. Dunkiel Saunders’ paralegal Melinda Siel also serves the organization as bylaws chair.
The VPO is a statewide, volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing paralegal education and promoting paralegal professionalism and leadership. Their purpose is to establish and maintain high standards of education, conduct, and integrity among paralegals and to advance and promote the paralegal profession, as well as to facilitate communication within the Vermont paralegal community and within local, state, and national bar organizations.
SRH Law appreciates Governor Scott’s recognition in the proclamation of the role of paralegals in the legal field and the opportunity it provides to recognize our paralegals for their dedication to quality and efficient work. We are also proud of the dedication Lucia and Melinda show to the advancement and connectivity of paralegals in Vermont. As a mission-based law firm, our work to support our clients who share our commitment to making a difference in their communities and the broader world would not be possible without our exemplary paralegals.
