Zachary joined the firm in October 2024, supporting the firm’s energy and public utilities and business and finance practice areas. Zach is dedicated to advancing renewable energy projects and helping small business owners navigate complex legal challenges.
Zach’s practice includes guiding clients through regulatory compliance, permitting, and transactional matters critical to renewable energy development. In addition, Zach works with business owners on entity formation, corporate governance, and mergers & acquisitions, helping them structure and execute strategies that drive growth and sustainability.
Before joining the firm, Zach gained extensive experience at another prominent Burlington law firm, where he built a strong foundation in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and investment-related activities. While attending law school, Zach helped develop solar projects — both in-house with a local solar developer and as a clinician with the Vermont Law School Energy Clinic.
Zach is passionate about fostering sustainable development and empowering entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. He thrives on building solutions that support both economic growth and environmental stewardship.
Zach lives in Waterbury with his partner, Missy, and their dog. Outside of the office, you can find him exploring the woods of Vermont on backcountry skis or a mountain bike.
